Red Source attended the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD) exhibition and conference last week. The team met new and existing suppliers, NGOs and government entities and attended a selection of informative conferences and talks. Over the three days, Red Source built on its network with the aim to collaborate with key organisations in order to get humanitarian aid to those in need around the world.
The event proved to be the perfect platform to shine a light on the essential work that Red Source carries out internationally. Speaking after the exhibition, Red Source’s general manager Eimear O’Halloran said: “DIHAD is an incredibly fruitful and worthwhile exhibition for organisations working in the humanitarian sector. It was great to see so many exhibitors and attendees, especially after the restrictions of the pandemic. We met old friends and established new connections with key organisations, with whom we identified potentially mutually beneficial collaborations.”
This year saw over 100 exhibitor-stands at the event, showcasing an impressive list of latest technologies and innovations from the humanitarian aid and development industry. Red Source is a leading supplier of relief, support, health and hygiene products to the humanitarian sector. Countries in several regions are currently experiencing significant challenges due to conflict and mass displacement of people. Red Source supplies a range of aid items and equipment to NGO’s, working tirelessly to provide critical and essential support.
