Joining hands with local businesses and a global logistics company has strengthened our operations in Afghanistan, but we desperately need to keep the momentum going.

"Our capability inside Afghanistan is greater for having brought together local knowledge and experience with some of the most trusted global names in the logistics industry,” says Red Source founder Mark Forrester. “I am delighted to say that we are working with DB Schenker, an international leader in supply chain and global logistics.

By harnessing local know-how and combining this with the powerful capability of an international logistics company, Red Source swiftly established a reliable network throughout Afghanistan and we continue to demonstrate  through our ongoing deliveries across the country.

Our recent missions included humanitarian aid convoys to remote regions in Afghanistan. In October alone, Red Source delivered aid packages to Khost, Baghman Qaradagh, Logar and Wardak districts, ensuring that supplies reached desperately needy families there.

We have joined hands with local suppliers and teams to harness their local knowledge. As such, we are instantly connected with the community and have access to unparalleled quality of information and local insight,” says Forrester. “This has been strongly demonstrated by Red Source successfully delivering aid across Afghanistan swiftly and seamlessly in September, October and November 2021. We were one of the first organisations to resume humanitarian aid supply, and we deliver swiftly and reliably. What we need now however, are funds to maintain the momentum and to ensure food and clothing  can reach even more desperately needy people . A humanitarian crisis is underway in Afghanistan and funding is urgently and desperately needed.”
